Safety and Services at Camp Site

Safety of all participants in our camps is our first priority. We have bi-lingual staffs 24 hours at camp site and during all tours in China to answer questions, offer helps, and ensure the students' safety during the program. All students are subject to Student Rules for program safety and order. At a student's request, we can safe-keep a student's important personal belongings such as passport and money. We also provide services to help students exchanging currency such as US dollars to Chinese Yuan (RMB).

Airport Pickup and Drop-off
We arrange pickups and drop-offs for all participants at Beijing airport, China. If you are not with our group traveling, please inform us about your schedule once your trip is finalized at least one week before your departure date. The Welcome Package has all details about what to do once accepted to the program.

Calling Home and Emergency Contact in China
As a student arrives in the camp site in China, we provide a free pre-purchased phone card, and instruct a student to call back home to inform parents about his/her safe arrival. If the parents of a participant need to contact a student during the student's stay in china, we have emergency contacts to call and email at any time. We will provide you detailed information at the same time in the Welcome package once your enrollment is confirmed.

Internet Access from Camp Site
There are internet accesses in Computer Center at Camp Site, Beijing BDA Experimental School. The camp students will be given a tour of the campus including the Computer Center upon arrival.

Live Camp BLOG
Starting this year, we start a BLOG for Live Camp Update for all programs. A program staff will post to the BLOG daily activities, student audio, photographs or videos from the camp site. Each day, a student is also assigned to write in the blog. Once the camp starts, parents can read the blogs and get to know of students' daily activities and status directly from our website.

Code of Student Conduct
While staying at the camp, students are expected to:
  • Attend every class each day and complete all assignments on time.
  • Follow any reasonable instructions given by the authority
  • Do NOT harass, insult, threaten or hurt others
  • Do NOT damage property, or violate a law of China and/or your home country
  • Do NOT bring or use tobacco products, alcoholic drinks, illegal drugs, harmful or dangerous substances and devices
  • Sleep in your assigned rooms and beds, and no close physical contact between students during the program
  • Do NOT leave the campus without permission from the program director. A permitted outing requires informing the program director of your travel plans.
Student who seriously violates the Code of Student Conduct can be dismissed from program. LOONGBRIDGE will make arrangements to send the dismissed student back to home country. A dismissed student will receive no refund of program fee and is responsible for any additional costs incurred by the dismissal.
