What does the program fee cover? What does not?
A: The payment includes:
lodging, textbooks, stationary and study materials, three
meals everyday during the period of the program, transportation
fees for scheduled trip (including transportation to and
from airport), admission fee for scheduled sightseeing,
gift package, health and travel insurance.
The payment does not include: International air ticket to
and from China, visa application fee, personal spending
such as souvenir and phone cards purchase.

We will go China by ourselves and join the program in Beijing. Who

4. I
will accompany my child to join a program. Do I need to
submit deposit for myself?
A: Yes. Because you will participate
in our program, live and eat on campus. You need to submit
a deposit to reserve a position in the program.

Will I live alone or with a roommate?
A: Every
student will be roomed with another student in double occupancy
rooms. However, due to special circumstances, we can also
arrange for a single occupancy room.

6.
Can we ask LoongBridge to apply visa
for us?
A:
We can help you to apply visa. You
need to mail us:
--Your original valid passport ( do not send a copy )
--Completed, signed and dated
Visa application form
with one recent 2”x2”passport photo attached
-- $150 visa application fee per person, make payment payable
to LOONGEBRIDGE CORPORATION (we need to write a single check
from LOONGEBRIDGE CORPORATION to Chinese Embassy)

What is the electric voltage used in China?
A: The
voltage in China is 220 Volts. Electric converters are available
at most shopping centers.

8.
Do I need to take vaccination
shots before I take off?
A:
A shot is not required. However, we
suggest you advise the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
for recommended vaccinations and preventive medications.

9.
How much money do I need to take with me?
A: Since you payment
for the program already covers most of the expenses. In
general, you need only take extra money for souvenirs and
gifts. Both traveler's checks and cash are easy for currency
exchange at most of banks in China.

10.
Does the program
offer high school or college credits?
A: For Chinese Language
and Traditional Arts program, we provide an official transcript
for every student, which states the name of course taken,
hours attended and your grade.
For Youth Volunteer and Culture Immersion program, we provide
volunteer credits. But we do not determine if these credits
can be transferred in U.S. and how much you can transfer.

11.
Who needs a Chinese Visa?
A:
Foreigners visiting China are required
to have a valid visa to enter China. Please make sure your
visa will not expire before the program ends.

12.
What should I
bring with me in my trip to China?
A: Since we will
take you out for grocery shopping right on the next day
after you arrive and most daily supplies are available in
Chinese grocery store. You can travel light and prepare
for the supply for the first day only.

Do
you have any sports field on campus?
A:
We have sports field
and facilities on campus for use at free: ping-pong, tennis,
badminton, basketball, soccer, volleyball.
We also provide
board games available at building central entertainment
area: Chinese chess, card games
|

14.
How
can I know I have completed the application and made reservation
successfully?
A:
You are considered as finished your
application once we received all necessary documents and
payment as required (refer to Check List in Application
Form). We will also email you to confirm that you have been
enrolled in our program successfully.

15.
I will give my child an accompany
during the program. And I am interested in Chinese language
and culture too. Can I enroll in the
programs?
A: Yes. If you are coming alone, you need
to enroll as a student and the fees are same as that for student. However, if you are
an accompanying parent, the classes are free for you. The
program fee for a parent is much cheaper, only $2150 for each parent. |
