XI'AN, famous for the Terracotta
Warriors, was first founded as Capital by Qin Shi Huang, first
Emperor who united China in Qin Dynasty, and has been functioning
as capital of China for 11 dynasties since the 11th century
BC.

LuoYang, first
became the capital of the Zhou
Dynasty in 770 BC., was original city was constructed by the
Duke of Zhou (周公) in the 11th century BC. It also serves as
capitals in Han, Wei and Jin Dynasties. In A.D. 493, the Northern
Wei Dynasty also moved its capital to Luoyang and started
the construction of the rock-cut Longmen Grottoes.

ShaoLin Monastery,
a Buddhist temple in Henan Province. The monastery was built
by the Emperor Hsiao-Wen in AD 496, and the first abbot of Shaolin
was Batuo, an Indian dhyana master who came to China in AD 464
to spread Buddhist teachings. Long famous for its association
with Chinese martial arts, it is the Mahayana Buddhist monastery
perhaps best known to the Western world.

Fun Trip to Mongolia
We also arrange fun trips to Mongolia for at the end of the program
that young students can have a unique grassland experience and relax
after weeks of studies. The trip is for Chinese Language and Traditional
Arts Program only.

Interest in More Tours After
Program Ends?
- For participants who want to have more tours in China after the
program ends, at their requests, we can help you contacting local
tourist agencies and arranging desired trips at their own expenses.
- If a participant want to stay in Beijing for more time after program
ends (for example, watch Olympic games), we offer accommodation
with good deal at the participant’s own expense.
