world-wide organization, International SOS Children's
Villages was founded by Hermann
Gmeiner in Imst, Austria in
1949. The organization is active in 132 countries and
territories
worldwide focuses on abandoned, destitute and orphaned children
requiring family-based
child care.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Students 14 years old and up with fair health
conditions (non-students are welcome to join too)
• Good school record and enthusiasm to teach (A application requires
school report card as reference)
• Loving and caring personal characters
• Interest in Chinese culture and traditions
• You don’t need have to be Chinese speaker to participate. We will
teach the participants basic Chinese speaking during the program.
• Parents can accompany participating student and take the same
program language and arts classes for FREE.

ACCOMPANYING PARENTS
• A parent can choose to accompanying his/her
children during the chosen program
• If a parent is interested in any class, one can take the same
program Chinese language and arts classes for FREE, but without
or with little interaction with instructors in classroom. Otherwise,
we can help arranging tours and shopping in Beijing at the time
of classes at one’s own expenses.
• For participants who want to have more tours in China, we can
help you contacting local tourist agencies and arranging desired
trips at their own expenses.

PLEASE READ:
• The program starting date is
the date when a participant should depart from their home country.
One should arrive in China the 2nd day and the class starts the
3rd day.
• A parent
can choose to accompanying his/her children during the chosen program.
The parent’s fee is less than the student’s fee, as parents are
not expected to take the on campus classes. However, if a parent
is interested in any class, he/she can take take the same program
Chinese language and arts classes for free, but without or with
less interaction with instructors in classroom.
